Painful Throat, Difficulty In Swallowing. How To Relieve Pain?

Hi, I gave head to a guy last thursday and the past few days I have had a excrutiatingly painful saw throat . It has bee getting worse and is now even harder to swallow . I don t want to see a doctor as I find this is very embarrassing on a one to one basis. I think my throat may be bruised, and was wondering what I can do to help it and relieve pain and perhaps how long it should take to clear? Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Exercises for your swallowing muscles. If you have a problem with your brain, nerves, or muscles, you may need to do exercises to train your muscles to work together to help you swallow.
Changing the foods you eat. Your doctor may tell you to eat certain foods and liquids to make swallowing easier.
Dilation: A device is placed down your esophagus to carefully expand any narrow areas of your esophagus. You may need to have the treatment more than once.
Endoscopy.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
