Hi Doc ! It is painful when i swallow , due to swollen lymph glands. I don t have a fever or other respiratory issues at the moment. I have not received my influenza shot this season, maybe a bad move on my part. I do work outside exposing myself to the cold weather, and don t want to miss work. is it too late to get a flu shot ? what should I do ? thanks

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello i am Dr Ravinder Sharma
On the basis of the information provided it appears you have an acute infection and this will require a course of antibiotics. I would suggest you to consult a ENT surgeon for treatment. Flu shot can be considered once you are treated for this condition.

I hope this answers your concerns. Feel free to contact me if you require more information about it
