Partial Hysterectomy Done, Pain, Diagnosed With Interstitial Cystitis, Hot Flashes, Night Sweats
I had a partial hysterectomy2 years ago due to endometriosis, I left my ovaries, I am going back in 2 week to have my ovaries removed because I am experiencing excruciating pain, I have also been diagnosed just today with interstitial cystitis and one question I forgot to ask is can you experience hotflashes with this, I am having the worst hotflashes and night sweats ever.
Hi, with ovaries in place, you will experience hot flashes only if they are not functioning, that it in the menopausal age. Since your age is not mentioned this may be one reason. The other may be due to interstitial cystitis. This is an infection and it may be causing fever and sweats. If you are on drugs, check to see if you are taking acetaminophen commonly called crocin or paracetamol. This also causes feeling of heat and sweating. Check your temperature with a thermometer to see if you are having fever. The cystitis must be treated before surgery.
