This is a common condition seen in women. This is due to entrapment of the decidua of the endometrium which happens due to faulty uterine contraction and hormonal imbalance.
There is no need for any treatment if the bleeding is for 2 to 3 episodes. If there is any worsening or increased frequency then there may need for you to consult a gynaecologist.
Wish you good health.
