Peeling Hands, No Itching, Hand Pain When Wet,

My husband has peeling hands. They are painful when wet and do not itch . He has not used any new products or cleaners or had any chemical exposures He works as an insurance adjuster at a desk. He is otherwise healthy without any allergies or daily medications. He has no history of eczema or psoriasis . Any thoughts why he suddenly has peeling hands?

Hi, I think that it might be Keratolysis exfoliativa. It may be due to change of season and appears as fine peeling of skin. Kindly use good mosturizer. Avoid antiseptic hand washes like Dettol hand was. Can use steriod cream for some days. Hope it helps.
