Penis Tip Red With Itching Inside Hole. Will Tetracycline Help In Clearing Redness?
My penis has a redness around the tip area, and it never use to. I had some small blisters and itching 15 months ago. Dr. s that I have been to said it was herpes. But have not had any blisters for 15 months now. There is no discharge. The itching is like inside the hole, but I do get a very, very, slight itch feeling every once in a while. Not like I use to. I think it is something other than herpes. But the head of the penis gets a funny looking red blotch every so often. I was wondering if tetracycline would clear up this redness. I have been to my general doctor, 2 dermatoligist, 2 uroligist for a total of about 9 times and they can not seem to clear up the redness. What is your opinion?
HI Thank for asking to HCM The tetracycline is antibiotic and this wont work here, this doe not seems herpes, if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with "povidone" oint. this will clear the problem and if it fails to respond then you have to do just nothing, and stop looking at it, this will go away it self without the treatment, take care and have nice day.
