Period Extended For A Long Duration, Heavy Feeling. Had Mono. What Should I Do?
I'm in the last week of my freshman year at Iowa State University and I have my period about a four days ago. But, instead of ending it kept going. It isn't heavy or anything but I am still very concerned especially since my period was suppose to end four days ago. I'm a deign student and am under a lot of stress from myself and my parents. Last semester I was sick for two month with mono and beginning of this semester had health complications as well. I just wanted to know what I should to do have it stop. -signed desperate
There is possibility of some hormonal imbalance.
That can be due to stress and strain or because of previous health issues.
So you once consult gynecologist, get examined and go for one ultrasound.
After that with her suggestion you can go for tablets to stop the bleeding and can go for hormonal pills to regularize the cycle if needed.
Don't take tension this is a common problem and can be cured easily. Concentrate on studies.
