Period Stopped, Trying Fertility Treatment. Advised Hormonal Replacement Therapy. Any Side Effects? Alternative Treatment

Hello, I m 38, have been trying fertility treatment. My period had stopped for 3 years. I m suspecting myself of having POF, MY fsh is 60 dr. adviced to strat hormonal replacement therapyt , i am very much confused to start this , because hormonal treatment has lot of side effects, i prefer to choose ayurveda, what is your opinion

According to your FSH level, there is possibility of premature menopause.
You can go for complete hormonal profile including estrogen, progesterone, LH and FSH to confirm this.
Usually in case of premature menopause, hormonal replacement therapy is advised to avoid complications due to decrease in the hormonal levels.
And it is true that, hormonal replacement therapy can lead to some side effects.
To avoid this, you can:
- Foods rich in phytoestogens like soya products, can drink soyamilk.
Beans, other green leafy vegetables also help in supplying phytoestogens.
-Taking artificial phytoestogens supplements.
Discuss these with your doctor and follow her advice.
