Period Twice In A Month. Gallbladder Removed, Previous Fibromyalgia. Advise?

Hello, I am female and am 38 years old. I just had my period a week ago and began it again last night. I had my gallbladder out a year ago this month and bled after surgery as well. Since then I seem to have my period and then days to a week later begin it again. I do have Fibromyalgia which I am not sure has any bearing on it. I am concerned because I get bad periods to start with and now I am in pain again only a week later. Can you suggest what I should do? Thank you for your time.

hi... you have menorrhagia.. DUB.. get one ultrasound scan done and see your gynaecologist for the management.. sometimes anovulatory cycles will leads to such heavy and frequesnt periods. you need to put on hormonal therapy. cholecystectomy/fibromyalgia is nothing to do with this. all the best
