Periods Regular After Tubal Ligation. Light Bleeding, Spotting Since Two Months. Experiencing Dizziness, Nausea. Pregnant?

Hello, I had a tubal ligation Feb 2012 after my 3rd child. My period were never normal. By that I mean like twice a year etc... After my tubal I got my period like clockwork. Now the past 2 months I have been so abnormal. Month of May I had a period for like 2 short days and not heavy. And then in June I started spotting on June 20th and have been spotting since then. I am on day 12 or 13. I took a prego test a couple days ago which was negative. I called my Dr and he prescribed progeterone to trick my body that I'm ovulating and get back on schedule. I have this weird feeling I may be prego. I am dizzy, nauseated off an on, heartburn, headaches, tired. It is different then my other pregnancies but I feel off. Oh and I got a bladder infection the week I started spotting. I never get bladder infections unless I'm prego. I'm nervous and don't want to start a pill that my cause harm if I am prego. What do you think?

Hi,
After your tubal ligation you had regular periods for more than one year. you preg test is also negetive. Your periods are irregular since last 2 months...which can be due to many other causes.( genaral weakness, hormonal imbalance,premenopause, fibroidsetc.)
Presently you have taken tabs progesteron & the dizziness,nausea can be a side effect of the progesteron.If you are not pregnqant, you will have withdrawal bleeding upto15 days after progesteron. please wait till then.& yes its better to avoid pills in pregnancy. If you are suspicious, pl get HCG test of blood for pregnancy)
The bladder infection needs treatment.
Pl. consult a Gynac after menses/if no periods after 15 days of progesteron
