Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
The condition you have described is called Melasma. Its pretty common condition dictated by hormones and sunlight and leading to hyperpigmentation over face and seen usually in middle aged women.
I would suggest you start with a cream containing Kojic acid,Arbutin etc in morning (Melaglow cream) and a cream containing hydroquinone, Fluocinolone and Tretinoin (Lumaglo cream)only over dark spots at bedtime. Initially apply Lumaglo on alternate night and wash if off after half an hour and apply a good moisturiser like cetaphil DAM and go to bed and then as your tolerance increases apply Lumaglo daily at night.
Always apply broad spectrum sunscreen before going out in sun.
Apart from routine treatment, you can opt for various procedures to augment the results like chemical peeling, micro-dermabrasion, laser therapy, mesotherapy etc.
Hope this will take care of your problem and wish you best of health.
