Persistent Redness In Eye, Ear Pain, Face Pain Only On One Side. Cause?

my right eye turned very red as though it had been scratched, and then the right side only of my entire face hurts to the touch. I feel pain even in the bottom of my ear. third day today, am seeing an eye doctor. I am hoping this is not a brain tumor pressing down on the left side of brain, causing the opposite side of my face to ache. no ache whatsoever on the left side of face.
