hello,im a female who is 31 i smoke and im over weight (15st) i had flu in febuary and have been left with a cough after checking my throat i have 1 sighty swollen tonsil with what looks like red/white marks on them? also the last week or so i keep having to take deeper breaths and keep yawrning all day long my musles are so tender too i ache all the time, im scared of going to the doctors ive had this phobia for yrs could you tell me in ur opinion what this could be please? with thanks.
Hi, It seems that you might have chronic follicular tonsillitis. Infection remain in follicles of tonsillitis giving rise to recurrent attack. Consult ENT specialist and get examined. Throat swab examination will give some clue about infection and causative organisms. After report go for long course of specific antibiotic medicine course. Do hot water gargles. Avoid fried and junk food. Avoid more sweets and cold drinks. Ok and take care.
