Persisting Inflamed Ingrown Hair. Have Type 1 Diabetes. Medication?
My BF has had what appeared to be an ingrown hair or bug bite for approx a month. About 2 weeks ago it released itself under pressure when he bent over. He thought it was cleared out but has now popped again x2. It is under his belt and waist band where ut is consitantly being rubbed and sweaty. thus it is being irritated and he hasn't felt well on top of being a type 1 diabetic. Alcohol and peroxide are not clearing it up? What could it be?

Good general hygiene and strict control of Diabetes help
Often, they may have deep sinus tracts and tend to recur.
If it is restricted to a single site, surgery is the best option...
Consult a dermatologist and/or General Surgeon
