Physical Examination. Lower Abdomen Soft, No Rebound Tenderness, Normal Vulva, Closed OS Of Cervix. What Is The Meaning?
hi doc my name is karen can you pls explain this better to me? it says on the recommendation that the physical exam of lower abdomen was soft, no rebound tenderness. pre vaginal exam shiwed normal vulvae and vulva, closed OS of cervix with erosion, 6 to 8week sized uterus and clear non tender fornices. beside ultrasonogram in AED RHTSK showed intrauterine SAC with no fetal pulsation..
Dear Karen,
It seems that you are pregnant to summarize all this. But there is a question mark about the health of your pregnancy. You should repeat the ultrasound scan after one week to confirm this.
Meanwhile you should take folic acid supplement.
If the scan reveals missed abortion, you should visit your doctor in order to arrange for the ideal method to terminate this pregnancy.
I hope these words were useful to you and I wish you the best of luck.
Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
