Pill That Look Like Amoxycillin Clavulanate, 2 On One Side And 3 On The Other. Is This A Genetic Form Of Amoxycillin ?
Hi! I have these pills that look like amoxicillin clavulanate ,probably spelled this wrong, anyway ,one side has a 2 and there is a line in the middle, and then a 3 and on the other side theres an x can u tell me if this is a form of amoxicillin maybe a genetic form? Thank you, also the pill is thick and oblong like augmentin 875
Amoxicillinclavulanate is another name for Augmentin. It has same chemical composition and effects.
The pills you have are probably made by a different manufacturer and the packaging is for commercial reasons (2 on one side and 3 on the other).
Nothing to worry.
Hope this helps,
Dr Anjana Rao
