Pimple Between Inner Thigh And Vagina. Better After Following Acne Treatment. History Of Having Unprotected Sex. Thoughts?
Hi, I had sexually inercourse with my boyfriend (ex now) about a month and maybe a week ago. We used a condom, but then the condom broke so we waited a little while and then started again just for a couple minutes without the condom. A couple of days ago when I got out of the shower, I was drying off and noticed a pimple between my inner thigh and my vagina, its not big, nor does it hurt at all and it does not look infected it just looks like a normal pimple. I have been putting acne treatment on it and it has seemed to help in just the two days its been there. It is not as noticeable and it has gotten smaller. I just would like to know what this is. I'm a little worried about what this is. Thank you.
Hello Thanks for your query. What you have sounds very much like a sebaceous cyst or an infected hair follicle. IT is common to have pimple like growths there, due to the oiliness of the glands, and the inherent wetness and dampness of the area. Keep the area cool and dry. Avoid handling the pimple with your hands. You could use topical antibiotic cream / powder on it. It is always a good idea to have thorough STI screening. All the best.
