Pimple In Bikini Line After Shaving. Bleed On Popping, Not Going Away. Is It Herpes?

Ok so a few weeks ago I shaved my private area and then last week I shaved it again. I do usually get pimples from it but they seem to go away pretty quickly. Anyway, I noticed a bump that resembled a pimple in my bikini line a few days ago and it hasn't gone away. I've tried to pop it but it just bled. Do u think it's herpes!!???

Greetings of the day

It's unlikely to be herpes from the description given by you. It looks more like folliculitis which is infection of hair follicle,it occurs due to colonization of hair follicle with Staphyloccocal due to shaving. Local application of Mupirocin ointment will definitely cause resolution of symptoms.
If it still persists, do send us clinical picture for diagnosis.
Wishing you a healthy life

Take care
