Pimple On Chin, Tried To Pop It, Swollen. Leaking Clear Liquid. What Is This?
I had a pimple on my chin and when I tried to pop it nothing came out and it got a little swollen. Now after sleeping on it the whole left side of my chin is swollen and very painful, and I don t even see a pimple anymore there is just a tiny little whole where it was leaking clear liquid. What is this and what can I do??
Hi,
If you are having similar other lesions (pimples) over face, then it could have been acne.
But if it was the only one lesion, then the chances are of pyoderma (bacterial skin infection) - may be furuncle.
The clear fluid coming out must be serum.
Now do not manipulate it any more. After washing it with drinking water, apply plain antibiotic cream. You can take oral analgesics to reduce the pain and inflammation.
Consult a doctor so that suitable oral antibiotic can be started.
