Pimples In Pubic Hair After Shaving, Pus, Bleeding On Pressing, Sexually Active. Causes?
hi, i m having a pimple like formation in my pubic hair , i have been getting this fewa times afetr shaving my pubic hair, bt this time it a bit bigger and pain full.. i had squessed it yesterday thr was a bit of pus discharged so i squessed it today again, bt today thr wid was blood ou t of it and a bit dark that normal i m also sexually active... so m nt understanding the reson for it...plz help me

Hello dear.
Boils in pubic area can be bacterial or fungal infection.
But as you mentioned they are related to shaving so probably you are suffering from a condition called as pseudofolliculitis barbae. Here boils are formed only after shaving. Due to in growing hair. Please dont squeeze them. Apply betagent cream twice daily and next time trim ur hair dont shave them

From the site and pattern of eruptions you have described, i can think of two most commonly occurring possibilities:
1) Folliculitis : Bacterial infection occuring in hair folicles.Frequently recurring and very persistent. Occur due to colonization of bacteria like Staphylococcus.
2) Molluscum contagiosum: Viral growths. Usually asymptomatic.Appear as pearly white papules , either in clusters or singly.Spread due to inoculation in surrounding areas, e.g. shaving .
In either case ,you should visit a dermatologist and get treated appropriately.
