Hi,

For about 3 weeks now i have had pimples appear on my scalp on the right side. I also have swollen lymphnodes on the right side of my neck. I see that several entries have the same problem. What are some of the more common causes of this and how can it be prevented? Also how serious is this?

im sorry i thought this was a free service. my apologies for that.

Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic

Pimples only on the right side of scalp is rather unusual. Shingles can come only on one side of the scalp, but then they are painful or itchy blisters and not pimple like. Folliculitis of the scalp can present as pimple like boils on the scalp. It is a bacterial infection of hair follicles. You may apply an antibiotic cream thrice a day over these boils. Also rule out head lice as they can cause boils over scalp.

Hope this helped
