Pink Discoloration Over Rib In The Area Where Mastectomy Was Done Previously. Matter Of Concern?

Hi - about 2 or 3 weeks ago, I noticed I have a pink discoloration, almost like a sunburn over my rib under my right breast (where I had a Mastectomy 3 years ago with saline implant reconstruction). It is not painful and does not appear to be connected to my actual implant. It is an area about 3-4 inches in diameter . Should I be concerned? It may or may not be slightly swollen as well- it is hard to tell. What might it be?

Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concern. In my opinion as it is not physical inspection and based on your complaints i.e, pink discoloration and slightly swelling I would suggest that it might be of lymph-edema or scar deformation. Investigate for an ultrasound. Hope this helped you. Thanks.
