Please Suggest Effective Medications For Dandruff And Hair Loss

Hello doctor, i have hair loss problem since 5 year starting with dandruff. I used to treatment at homeopathic for 3 year but not satisfying result then i consult dermatologist. He started with sebamed antidandruff shampoo with finasteride and cantil b lotion with some biotin tablet result was good for three year and aftertheir hair loss started and he provided monoxidil 5% then 10%. I used it for 15 months but not noticable growth then he provided hairgaine alpha serum it was better for 5 month but again started hair fall and this time he provided capaxyl but it also not usefull. Finasteride tablet using since 2 year. Please suggest me for better result as my front scalp losses 60%.

Hi thanks for asking question.

You have past dandruff history.So whenever it occurs use danket shampoo that is very useful.If dandruff severe then oral fluconazole also can be taken.

As far as hair loss is concerned you can use minoxidil.along with finasteride minoxidil can prevent further hair loss but hair follicle regeneration by it cannot occur .So as long as you will use minoxidil your hair fall will not be there.

If you are searching for permanent cure of hair loss then hair transplantation with PRP dermatrolar is used.

Take nutritional diet with avoidence of smoke and avoid stress.
