Plugged Ear. Prescribed With Debrox. Bleeding After Using A Q-tip. What To Do Now?
I have had a plugged ear for about a month now. Doctor gave me Debrox and said it was clogged with earwax. She also suggested I stop using q-tips. Ear still feels clogged. It gets very itchy and I rub it and now i felt it very full of wax so I used a q-tip and i saw a little bit of blood coming out. What can this be and what should I do?
Hello Friend Welcome to H.C.M With little information and as per the history you have given and the clinical findings you have traumatised the external auditory canal. i will suggest you that you keep the ear dry. and dont put any drop or oil . you will be alright in few days . But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer. With best wishes for a speedy cure Yours sincerely The Health Caremagic Medical Team
