My father admitted nursing home last week due to numonia...he got breathing trouble, after city scan doctor report is telling Mild pleural Effusion .....what is that ?

Hello. Welcome to HCM,
Pleural effusion is a a condition of accumulation of fluid in between the layers of pleura which forms outer and inner covers for the lungs. There can be many causes for the same-clues for diagnosis come from cytological examination of pleural fluid. and also submit it for biochemical analysis.
That will be helpful in guiding diagnosis and therapy.
