Popped Lumps On Head, Itchiness With Heavy Pus. Advise?

Hi, I have had few lumps on my head for about two years they just popped up. My mum thought they were moles . The other day one of them were itchy and it had a little bit of puss on it. Now two days later it was so itchy and I had a look at it and all this puss came out, like heaps. The lump is nearly gone. I am freaking out because I shouldnt have squeezed it. What could it be and should I go to a doc now or wait till the morning. Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You have developed infected pustules.

There are two possibilities

1. You might have developed furuncles.

These are deep bacterial infections.

Treatment is with antibiotics

2. a fungal folliculitis, as there is lot of itch.

It needs treatment with anti fungal shampoos

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
