Hello,
There are a few points for consideration in this situation-namely, the spotting could be due to the implantation, but such bleeding is usually fresh. Another possibility is that there could be some hormonal disturbance that may have caused the spotting and a threatened abortion which needs to be addressed by a specialist immediately. Please see a specialist as early as possible. Meanwhile, give her total bed rest, avoid all forms of stress including sexual intercourse and allay anxiety. Hope this helps.
