Possible Reasons For An Itchy Tongue

I understand that an itchy tongue can be caused by an allergic reaction to food. I recently have consumed dark chocolate but this is never caused the problem for me before. In addition I am one week post surgery (total radical hysterectomy) and I am on medications. Could this be the possible reason for my itchy tongue? Thank you.

hi,

yes this can happen because of a course of antibiotic, it will go in 2 -3 days. Just relax and drink lots of water.
