Post-menopausal. Had Steroid Shot For Exzema. Started Bleeding. Side Effect Of Steroid Shots?

I had a steroid shot for exzema about 3 weeks ago and have been post-menospausal for about two years now. I woke up this morning with signficant vaginal bleeding . Is this a side effect of steroid shots?

hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. Epidural steroid injections are associated with abnormal vaginal bleeding for both premenopausal and postmenopausal women. So if the bleeding stops there is no reason for fear. But if the bleeding takes longer or does not improve or becomes worse, visit your gynecologist immediatley.
