Pregnant. Detected Baby S Head 4/5 Th Palp. On B12 Injections, Folic Acid And Iron Tablets. Suggested Doing Swab Test And Visiting The Doctor. Explain

Hi I'm 33 weeks on Sunday with my 4th baby, for the last week I've had diareaha, was sick once, had a tiny bit of bright red spotting when I wiped once, dull lower period pain backache, general feeling of not being right, severe sharp pains in groin especially today and a watery light yellow discharge. Saw doctor today she said babies head is 4/5ths palp and gave me a swab to do at home and drop back to them. Also I am on b12 injections, folic acid tablets and iron tablets, not sure what's going on any advice to put my mind at rest please???

Hi, 4/5 Th of the head palpable means that the delevery is nearing, and you may delever baby shortly, Most probably you may have a male baby. (This is my assumption only, delevery in the 9th month usually result in male baby.)
The spotting could be due to the dialatation of the cervix, and soft tissue. So to examine the progress the doctor asked to come again. So dont worry, both will be fine. Thank you.

for diarrhoea , u must have taken medicine.i will advice u to continue boiled water.have bed rest,consult yur gynacto see whether u r in labour.

1) Swab test is to rule out infection and inturn the effect causing pretem labor.

2) I suggest you go as per doctor's advice and any suggestions to avoid preterm labour.
