Pregnant. Diagnosed Fibroid In Cervix And Ovarian Cyst. Abdominal Pain. Prescribed Susten And Folic Acid. Any Problem In Pregnancy?

hiii i am 5 weeks pregnant, firstly i had a tvs ,in that diagniosed that 1.4 cm measured fibroid in the ceruvix and also left ovarian cyst. I took the scan becoz of the lower abdomen pain.I would like to know if any problem will arise duiring my pregnancy period.Still the pain is persisting. consulted with a doctor, she said dnt use any analgesics, and prescribed susten and folic acid tablets.please advise me.....professional i m a registered nurse.

Hi there ~

You may not have any problems during your pregnancy if you have regular check ups with your OBGYN. This is because you have a fibroid in your cervix, that you need to have more frequent checks. If everything is fine up until the end of your pregnancy, delivery may be a problem since you have a cervical fibroid. The ovarian cyst must also need regular follow-up however it should not be as concerning as the fibroid. I hope this helped, and make sure you make an appointment with your OBGYN.
