Pregnant. Had Diarrhea And Nausea. What Does It Mean?
Hi, i was 38 weeks pregnant last saturday, i had an internal examination yesterday,my consultant said the cervix had not ripened yet, she said to expect a show last night and this was to be expected as she had examined me, since yesterday, i had diarrhea 3 times and slight nausea , what could this mean? i didn t get the show last night

You could be having mild gastroenteritis, causing mild diarrhoea and nausea.
This would be accompanied by stomach cramps and flatulence.
Labour is sometimes preceded by diarrhoea.
This would be accompanied by intermittent hardening of the uterus ( contractions ) , mucoid blood tinged discharge etc.
