Pregnant. Have Sugar Level Of 11. How To Control Sugar Level And Have Normal Delivery?

hi,i m 32 week pregnant and i had 2 hour GTT test and in my report my sugar level is 11.my midwife give me moniter to test sugar level at home.i want a normal delivery and normal baby i want to know that i will have to go thrue c section or i can born a baby with normal birth?what should i do to control my sugar level?

Thank you for getting in touch with us. As I see, your Doctor conducted a GTT test on you and your sugar level is 11. I think there is some error here as sugal levels of 11 are way too less for a human being to survive. I would request you to check your reports and get back to us. We would be able to guide you in a better way then. However, we would like you to know that maintaining glucose levels in pregnancy is very important. Failure to do so can lead to complications, the main being macrosomia (very big baby). So you should take proper precautions. Hope this helps.
