I am 28.5 weeks pregnant and my family just relocated for my husband to start grad school. I had my 20 week ultrasound, and then just did my glucose around 25 weeks prior to moving. So almost no official appointment for almost 2 months. Baby movement and weight gain are good, no bleeding, and no signs of problems. We are getting on Medi-Cal, but may take another week to finalize everything. And who knows how much longer til I can get into an office. Should I be worried about going so long between appointments? What else can I do?
welcome to HCM! Monthly check-up is must. B.P. and weight gain must be watched. 2 doses of toxoid is must. sonography at 28 wks must be done. consult any gynaec as soon as possible. all the best!
Hi, Thanks for the query. Usually during the early weeks of the pregnancy, one visit per month is sufficient. So if possible plan accordingly. A at present, your general condition, ultrasound, baby movements everything are normal, no need to worry. You observe the fetal movements daily, take nutritious diet and continue the recommend tablets. If you observe any symptoms like pain abdomen, decreased fetal movements, leaking or bleeding per vaginum consult doctor. For more details you can ask me directly through the premium forum. Take care.
