Pregnant. On Mifepristone And Misoprostol. Is It Enough To Terminate Pregnancy? Is It Harmful In Anyway?

my wife 40 days pregent , we go to clinic where doctor had given three table of mifepristone ( mifeprine kit made by sun pharma ) at 5 mintues interval , and said 4 tablets of misoprostol take after 48 hours , but i find that only one tablet of mifepristone is enough for terminate preganancy , so i want to know these was harmful my wife , i have purchased three packet of mifeprine kit.

The exact dosage and method of administration for the tablets of medical abortion vary everywhere.
Current research does agree that only one tablet of mifepristone is enough for early first trimester medical abortion.
However, many countries and many practitioners are correct in administering three tablets of mifepristone together also.
this is not harmful for your wife, and will slightly increase chances of success of medical abortion.
So please do not worry, and go ahead with the prescription as advised.
