Pregnant. Overweight. Echo Cardiogram Done Due To Tachycardia Shows Mild Left Atrial Enlargement. Help

Hello, I am 38 weeks pregnant and had a echo cardiogram done on friday.
Left ventricle is normal in size. Mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy. The left ventricular ejection fraction is normal. Ejection fraction = 60-65%. The transmitral spectral doppler flow pattern is suggestive of impaired LV relaxation based on MV flow. I don't have high blood pressure so I am
Confused. Also it states I have mild left atrial enlargement. I had a echo done due to tachycardia. I am overweight. Please help.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
These changes on ECHO are due to obesity and pregnancy.
It will revert back to normal after delivery and weight reduction.
Keep a check on your weight.
Avoid high glycemic index food.
Normally heart rate increases by 10 during pregnancy.
Nothing to worry about it.
