MY WIFE IS PREGNANT OF 4+ MONTHS. ACCORDING TO DOCTOR'S PRESCRIPTION SHE HAS TO TAKE ONE MCBM DHA CAPSULE(INDOCO), ONE CCM TABLET(GSK) , AND ONE FERONIA-XT TABLET(ZUVENTUS) EVERYDAY .NOW MY QUESTION IS WHAT ADVERSE EFFECT SHE MAY EXPERIENCE ON GETTING THESE MEDICINES? SHE IS NOW 23+YEARS AND IT IS HER FIRST PREGNANCY. SHE WAS SUFFERED FROM KIKUCHI DISEASE, EROSIVE ANTRAL GASTRITIS, GAD ON MARCH 2012 AND BILATERAL PLEURAL EFFUSION WITH PNEUMONIA, UROSEPSIS, GAD ON JULY 2012 ; THOUGH SHE IS NOW OUT OF THE DANGER OF THESE DISEASE.

These are the essential vitamins and minerals (iron, calcium) which are needed in pregnancy for better growth and development of the growing fetus. All above medicines are very much safe & need to be continued throughout the pregnancy period.

Do periodic checkup to her obstetrician with USG scan. Take healthy protein rich diet, drink more water and take adequate bed rest.

congrats to the couple
the medicines you mentioned are iron supplements , calcium, vitamins and minerals required for a pregnant lady. these have as such no significant side effects. these are quite a lot very essential for your wife these days .make sure that she does not miss them. sometimes we find a green colored stool and also constipation due to iron supplements. but you need not to worry for that. ask her to take plenty of fluids and protein rich diet. even she requires more calories during her pregnancy. consult her gyaenecologist for her proper diet plan and make sure that she follows it.
