Pregnant. Yellow Bile, Foam, Sensation Of Diarrhea, Nausea
Hello, I am somewhere around 8 weeks pregnant... and I have not yet had actual vomiting with my morning sickness.
But I have had odd diarhea sensations that only end in trying to go and not succeeding. The only thing I get is yellowy clear bile and foam. I have felt awful but I cannot get my doctor to take me in any sooner.
I can barely eat, and I can only seemingly drink water. I have no apetite or desire for food whatsoever. I feel hungry but the thought of food makes me feel so ill I just put it in the back of my mind and dont eat. Even light makes me nausiated.
Please help me figure out what to do or what is wrong. Thank you !
Hi, Thanks for the query. Some amount of nausea is common in pregnancy. Usually this will subside with progression of the gestational age. In cases like first pregnancy, twin gestation, molar pregnancy etc, the nausea will be more. Passing mucous like discharge in stool may indicate dysentery. So, once consult gynecologist, get examined, check for your blood pressure. And go for ultrasound once with her advice. Possibly this will help in finding out the cause for excessive nausea and treatment can be taken accordingly. Taking dry items in the early morning, avoiding oily things can help to some extent. Try to take smaller quantity meals in frequent intervals. Mild dysentery may subside with out need of medication. If persists you may need one course of antibiotics. Take care.
