hai,i am 32wks pregnant with my second baby.as i am a von willie brand patient too.today becoz of abdominalpain i went to consult .and came to knw sm pus cells presant in urine,they gav me sm antibiotics.as my firs delvry is normal is thr any chance for bleeding ths time or premtr labour happns.thr i exprnced sm spoting in first week during ths pregnancy.

Thanks for writing in to us.

Pus cells in your urine may indicate mild urinary tract infection. Its good you are taking antibiotics given by your doctor but you must also drink enough water and fresh juices and pass urine as and when you get urges. Keep your genital area dry to avoid more infection.

Close follow-up and detailed guidelines for the management of delivery have produced a very low rate of immediate and late bleeding complications in vol willebrand patients. There are medications to take care of any eventuality. If your first pregnancy was normal then this will also most likely be normal.
