Pregnant, Beta Hemolytic Streptococcus, Ofloxacin 400 And Polygynax Vaginal, Both Are Contraindicated

Hi, I m pregnant in 32 Weeks. I have the beta hemolytic streptococcus and my obstetrician prescribe me Ofloxacin 400 mg 1 at 12 hours and Polygynax vaginal capsules. From which I’ve read both drugs are contraindicated in pregnancy and I really don’t know what I should do. Could you please give me an advice? Thank you!

FOR YOUR INFECTION YOU ARE RIGHT THAT OFLOXACIN IS CONTRAINDICATED OF PREGNANT MOTHER BUT GENERALLY IT IS GREATER RISK IN EARLY PREGNANCY WHERE YOU ARE OF 32 WEEKS. THOUGH YOU MAY TAKE CAP.MEGAPEN(500) 1 CAP. 8 HRLY INSTEAD OF TAB. OFLOXACIN.
