Hi,
Sometimes, in early pregnancy, hCG levels do not pick fast enough for good positive results and usually, HPTs cannot read them as they are not as sensitive as blood tests. Since, you got a positive HPT, your hCG levels probably need monitoring and a second blood test can tell the difference. It helps to know if your hCG levels are picking up as they should since you had a miscarriage in the past. Do not worry, this is only a precaution to ensure that nothing goes wrong and miscarriages often do not repeat. Please get further advice from your doctor. Take care.
