Pregnant, Early First Trimester, Have Spotting Post Severe Cough At Night. Had Spotting Earlier, Taken Medicines. What Is The Cause?
my sister is in her 14 the week, she had a spotting during the 8 weeks and we went to doctor she said it is due to early pregnancy and they gave her a tablet to avoid the risk of miscarriage , 2 days back she had a severe cough at the night and she noticed the spotting in the morning this time the color of the blood was red, after that she rested for the whole and disappeared again, why is this happening
Bleeding affects 20%-30% of all pregnancies. Bleeding may be due to multiple causes like implantation bleeding or due to threatened abortion.
Bleeding is not normal at any time during pregnancy. Consult the doctor and provide information about the amount of blood lost and a description of how you are feeling overall. Whether the bleeding is light and you have no pain etc.
I advice you to avoid any strenuous work. Consult the OBG specialist and go for ultrasound to know the condition of the fetus. Never ignore the bleeding during pregnancy and consult the doctor immediately.
Hope I have provided the information you needed.
Wish you good health.
Take care
