Pregnant Getting Sounds From The Throat When Hungry. Could It Be Due To High Blood Pressure?
i am currently 37 weeks pregnant and started to notice these weird fizzling sounds in my throat when i am hungry. ive read somewhere online that it might be my blood pressure. Is this true? If not what could it be? last time ive been to my appointment my midwife told me my blood pressure was a little higher than normal as well.
Hi, The sounds could be the gurgling of the intestines one can experience when one is extremely hungry. Excessive blood pressure does not cause such sounds. It could also be due to some amount of gastritis that can exist in pregnancy, especially at this stage. You can try taking small meals at frequent intervals with plenty of water in between. Your blood pressure needs to be monitored properly by a specialist if it is persistently abnormal. Wish you safe motherhood.
