Pregnant, Had Spotting. Reports Showed Bulky Uterus, No Yolk Sac Or Embryo Seen. Is This Considered Normal?

I m 6 weeks pregnant n had spottin last week n doctor had a early ultrasound done.. reports says uterus bulky, sac margins regular, decidual reaction good, no yolk sac or embryo seen.. is this normal? I hv another scan next week:-( impression was early gestational - delayed conception or missed abortion.. I don't have any pregnancy symptoms before the hot nor now

Thanks for writing to HCM

Normally at this stage yolk sac with fetal pole should be visible in USG.
It is not seen in your case.It may be due to delayed conception or missed abortion.
This situation can't be considered as normal.
You should have follow up USG to observe the findings that it is progressing or not.
Pregnancy symptoms may be delayed in some cases.Don't worry about this.
