Pregnant, Have Swelling And Redness On Gums, Pain On Brushing, Used Orasep, Want To Take Paracetamol. Safe?
i am 30week of pregnant i facing gums swellon and red past three days i cannot able brush my teeths also no bleeding iam gorglling with salt water now i applied orasep gel its good or any side effects if take paracetamol the pain will be less please kindly suggest me to what to do it not harm of baby thanks and regards Afsha

This is a common condition faced by pregnant women and happens due to softening of the mucous membrane in the oral cavity and nasal cavity.
This can be prevented to some extent by taking VIT C rich foods like citrous foods. Also gargle with antiseptic solutions like CHLORHEXIDINE and brush with a soft bristle brush.
