Pregnant, History Of Abortion. Having Deficiency Of Amniotic Fluid. Prescribed Loprin, Duphaston. Its Purpose?
Hello. My wife is pregnant. she has the history of one abortion 3 month ago. now she is pregnant again. ultra sound tells that her g. sac and fetus is normal and is 5 weeks of age. but she has the deficiency of amniotic fluid . doctor has prescribed her loprin 75 and duphaston . i m worry . is it safe prescription and what is it for?????

A decrease in amniotic fluid is not detectable at such an early stage of pregnancy. The low dose aspirin and progesterone supplement that has been prescribed to your wife are to improve the placental function.
