I am 8 weeks pregnant, I have been very sick the last week and half, 24 hours, it never leaves me. My heart beats rapidly and I can feel it in my throat it is very uncomfortable, it makes me feel sick and turn me off my food. I also feel like my head is going to burst, there is no pain just alot of pressure in my head and ears.
Dear leagh
Hello I am Dr Ravinder Sharma Pregnancy comes with quite of good number of complaints
1. Nausea and vomiting are quite common in first trimester of Pregnancy(upto 12 weeks)
2. Physiological changes that occuur in Pregnancy may contribute to pressure in head and increase in heart rate
But it is incorrect to assume that these symptoms are normal dur eto pregnancy. I would advise you to a Obstetrics and a ENT consultation to rule out other causes of similar complaints. You may require some tests (Blood and Urine test,Blood Pressure, Fundus evaluation and a obstetric check up and Ultrasound for fetal well being).
I hope this answers your concern
with regards
Ravinder Sharma
