Pregnant, Slightly Brownish Discharge, Mucus, Tender Breasts. Pregnancy Tests Positive. Advise?

my daughter is eight and half weeks pregnant and has a slight brown discharge and some mucas. She is not experiencing any pain. Her breasts are still tender. Her periods would normally be due now. She experienced some spooting around the date, when her last perfiod would have been due but has had two prgenancy tests since then, which both indicated that she was pregnant. She is very anxious, should she be?

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Your daughter should consult a gynecologist to get her blood test and ultrasonography done to see the fetal heart and well being of the fetus.
Slight brownish discharge may be normal with pregnancy if everything is normal in ultrasonography.
Consult a gynecologist for some progesterone support and folic acid and multivitamin.
Good luck.
Take care.
