Pregnant, Stomach Pain, Bleeding In Sputum, Not From Gums. Normal Symptoms?

My wife is pregnant. We do not know how many weeks, but assume its between six to eight weeks. We have our first visit with the OGYN tomorrow. Recently my wife has complained about stomaches. Tonight, after brushing her teeth , blood appeared in the sink. It did not come from her gums. She called me to the bathroom and spit again and mor blood appeared. Is this normal?

Hi,

Congratulations on your wife's pregnancy.

If it was a onetime occurrence of the bleeding then you may safely neglect it. It is probably because of vitamin deficiency.

Put a note about this to her OBGYN doctor tomorrow.

It is normal, nothing to worry as of now.

Regards,
