Hi, my name is ana and i am 16 week pregnant.Today i had my first diabetes test after 1 hour fasting and according to my doctor i failed the test,my sugar level was 200. This is my first baby and i have diabetes on my maternal side very much and also on my father side but not much. And my husband has no family history with diabetes and i am healthy too. Hi,
You are 16 weeks pregnant with hyperglycemia
You need to do get done Glucose challenge test after having 75 gm of glucose.Get checked your glycosylated hemoglobin which will give an average estimate of previous 3 months blood sugar.

Family history of diabetes has been recognized as an important risk factor of the disease. The prevalence of diabetes among individuals who have a first-degree relative with diabetes (14.3%) was significantly higher than that of individuals without a family history (3.2%)

Consult Endocrinologist to get best opinion for management of same

Hope this will help you
